The BCS Board of Directors consists of parish representatives from St. Mary, St. Charles, and St. Joseph. The Board has Corporate Bylaws to follow in carrying out the mission and operation of Burlington Catholic School. According to the bylaws, the Board of Directors “shall manage the affairs of the Corporation.” Each director serves a three-year term. As director positions become available, the parishes and families will be notified. Directors are ultimately appointed by the Board of Trustees.
The Board of Trustees is made up of all six parish trustees, as well as our pastor. The Board of Trustees supervises the Board of Directors, attends the meetings, and offers recommendations to the Board of Directors. A representative from the Tri-Parish pastoral council attends the meetings as well as the Principal and Business Manager. Only the Directors have voting power in a meeting.
