Our 5th grade students put their science skills to work using the triple‑beam balance!

This tool helps students measure mass by sliding three riders along separate beams and adding the values together. It’s a hands‑on way to learn how scientists get precise measurements and understand the difference between mass and weight.

Lots of focus, teamwork, and “aha!” moments as they compared objects and practiced reading the beams accurately. How great is it to see them dive into real lab tools at this age?!
