Nutritious Meal Pattern Requirements

We have focused on serving the students an increased selection and portion of fruits, vegetables, and grains to complement a wide variety of nutritious and delicious main entrées. All students are offered five food components (grain, protein, fruit, vegetable, and fluid milk) and MUST select at least 1/2 cup of fruits and/or vegetables daily, as a minimum, to fulfill meal pattern daily requirements. The menu will be the same at both campuses.

Meals

  • Families are responsible for charges for any meal taken, or are exempt from charges based on family eligibility for free or reduced price meals.
  • Because of this, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to complete the USDA Free and Reduced-Price School Meals Application, if applicable. Please look for that application from the school offices or the BCS website, complete the application, and turn into the school office anytime during the 2026-27 school year
  • In our commitment to continue to offer nutritious and diversified meals to our students, while trying to keep the cost for families as affordable as possible, the prices for lunch are as follows
