Nutritious Meal Pattern Requirements

We have focused on serving the students an increased selection and portion of fruits, vegetables, and grains to complement a wide variety of nutritious and delicious main entrées. All students are offered five food components (grain, protein, fruit, vegetable, and fluid milk) and MUST select at least 1/2 cup of fruits and/or vegetables daily, as a minimum, to fulfill meal pattern daily requirements. The menu will be the same at both campuses.

Meals

  • The National School Lunch Program has returned to the traditional school meal program. Families will be responsible for charges for any meal taken, or be exempt from charges based on family eligibility.
  • Because of this it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to complete the USDA Free and Reduced-Price School Meals Application, if applicable. Please look for that application from the school offices or the BCS website, complete the application, and turn into the school office PRIOR to the start of the 2023-2024 school year!
  • In our commitment to continue to offer nutritious and diversified meals to our students, while trying to keep the cost for families as affordable as possible, the prices for lunch will be the following.
